What is Floriography?

Floriography is the name for the language of flowers, every flower carries a symbol or has its own special meaning.

When you need to send a message to someone flowers are a greate way to show how much you care. They bring colour and smell but they have a symbolic meaning as well.

The language of flowers stems back thousands of years - From flower references in the christian bible to chineses medicine and japanise folklore.

Florioraphy grew popular in the victorian era for example if they were in love, but not all were always about love and romance - a way of sending a secret message or code.
